Thanks to a grant by the Open Meadows Foundation, the Simien Girl Runners were able to attend the most recent Great Ethiopian Run. Four were entered into the professional race and, among the top 250 international and national athletics, the Simien Girls Runners team got the following results:

The rest of the team also did well in the nonprofessional race and everyone had a fabulous time!
